Apple is worth More than…
Contemporary economy is surprising. The value of some companies is bigger than the gross domestic product of many developing countries. The most recent comparison presents a software developer in the peak of success and a country haunted by crisis: Apple and Greece. A note published yesterday by CNN Money asserts that last Thursday, Apple’s value in the stock market briefly reached $400 billion dollars, a record even for the most valuable technology company in the world. Its market cap is higher than the GDP of Greece, Austria, Argentina and South Africa. The special blog “Things Apple is Worth More than” quoted in the note mentions other amazing comparisons: Apple is more worth than four American civil wars, the United States beef consumption and two entire Apollo space programs.
