Argentina: Amado Boudou is on Charge
In a note published some days ago in our blog we mentioned the economic challenges faced by Argentinean reelected president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner. Boudou is the former Finance minister who restructured the nation’s US $12.9 billion in debt following the crisis in 2009. The Argentinean markets remain in calm because Fernandez’s prognosis seems good. “Still —says the report quoting Daniel Kerner, a Buenos Aires based analyst— concerns about the country’s stability may increase if the president’s condition grows worse or if she is sidelined longer than expected”.
