Roberto Velarde Joins Inder
Inder is an investment group based in Santiago de Chile and run by Del Río Family. It focuses on investments that range in size from US $30 million to US $150 million. On November 28th the group’s board has appointed Roberto Velarde —a veteran of JP Morgan partners— as a managing director, an agreement considered a “partner placement”. Mr. Velarde will explore investment options in the Andean region, especially in Chile, Peru and Colombia. He spent ten years with J. P. Morgan Chase & Co. In New York, Mexico and Buenos Aires and was among the founders of J. P. Morgan Partners, a private equity investment portfolio. According to the press release “Inder has a long term philosophy with a multisector investment focus”. The Group is led by José Luis del Río, president and CEO of Dersa, the prestigious South American holding company.
